Kennedy to show largest dispenser range ever at ISSA Interclean - 26th - 29th April, Amsterdam
Kennedy Hygiene Products (stand 10.105) promises visitors an abundant choice of washroom dispensers at ISSA Interclean Amsterdam this year. Exhibiting its largest dispenser range ever and now located in the exhibition’s new washroom segment, Kennedy will showcase four new products in addition to its popular range of existing dispensers in an array of finishes and with their associated consumables.
Amongst the new products to be shown is POD, a no-touch reserve roll paper hand towel dispenser. The dispenser has been designed to provide total freedom of consumable choice and is compatible with the broadest range of paper roll sizes, core sizes and 1 and 2 ply paper combinations. The unit also has what is probably the highest paper capacity on the market for a compact dispenser of its kind. Its flexibility is also paramount - with a patent applied easy towel loading system and rapid roll change feature, service is fast and efficient. POD also boasts a smart modern design and is available in several finishes including stunning chrome.
Another new addition to Kennedy’s hand drying family is MINI TEKNA. A new cotton towel cabinet which combines all the benefits of the original large sized TEKNA, reliability, hygiene, service, environmental credentials and good looks, in a compact size. The unit provides for utmost levels of hygiene, as clean towel is isolated from and positioned above dirty towel and it is not possible to pull back dirty towel portions. It features automatic mechanical retraction of each used towel portion and of the towel end and is designed for use with a narrow 40m cotton towel. Servicing the unit is also straightforward thanks to its effortless and easy towel loading system. Being mechanically operated the unit is also kind to the environment as it does not need an external power source or batteries and is based upon eco-friendly engineering. Meanwhile, its associated consumable, the cotton towel, is biodegradable and is proven to be one and a half times less harmful to the environment than paper equivalents.
Kennedy’s innovative new range of waste disposal bins will also be on show. The recently launched BAMBINA, a 50 litre pedal operated nappy bin with a built in odour control system will be joined by the MEDINA bin which has been introduced for the disposal of offensive hygiene/healthcare waste. Both units have been developed in response to market demand for robust and aesthetically pleasing pedal operated units which incorporate practical service and user friendly features.
With a large 50 litre waste holding capacity, the units are also compact, modern and attractive in design. To ensure maximum hygiene they are pedal operated and have a unique built in odour control system to make the end user experience more pleasant. A modesty flap ensures waste is not visible to the end user while its large centrally positioned aperture makes it easy to dispose of soiled nappies, dressings and other waste. Meanwhile, a patent applied removable hygienic bin protects the inside of the unit from soiling and can be removed for easy cleaning. The nappy bin is available in white and grey while the medical waste bin is available in a two colour yellow and black design in line with new national colour coding recommended in the 2006 healthcare memorandum which highlights best practice for the safe management of healthcare waste.
The new products form a part of Kennedy’s integrated range of washroom hygiene dispensers which will also be on show together with special finishes, bespoke colours and designs and consumables.
